Week One: Reflection Prompt

In lesson one, you heard a lot about me and how I look back on my life and see how it brought me to where I’m today. I encourage you to do the same to see what areas in your life can help shape your own career. Here are a few prompts to get you started.

1) What is your favorite part about yourself? How do others describe your personality? Do you see yourself that way? How can you use these traits to your advantage in becoming your own boss in your photography career?

2) What was your upbringing like? What was the roles in your own family? What did they tell you about who you were as a person?

3) When you reflect on your own career, what is working for you and what would you like see change?

5) Is there a way to network in your current profession or hobbies to start building a photography portfolio?

4) In your current career, is there something missing? What are you craving to add to your career?

5) What are you craving to add to your personal lifestyle?

6) What are you holding onto that no longer benefits you, personally and professionally?
